Tim & Kim’s wedding was at Rideau Vineyards in Santa Ynez. It was a whimsical wedding that incorporated their love of music. Tim is a trumpet player, and is now a professor of music. Kim is an oboe player and has been working in a music library in addition to freelancing as a performer.
There was many DIY + musical elements like the library place cards and card catalogs, sheet music table decor & a mini orchestra made of friends & colleagues from their time at USC. They met at the USC Music Library while Kim was the manager and Tim was a doctoral student. Too cute, right? It was a treat to be there to hear the live orchestra music for the ceremony. Tim arranged music composed by Holst, Grainger, Debussy, Dvorak, and Turnia.
I loved Kim’s style. Her dress is my favorite wedding dress, so far. It’s a stunning vintage inspired dress, with multiple delicate layers of lace & tulle. See the end of the post for all the details.
